Malayalam films 2011-English Mania

I'm here not speak about the English Movies to DVD to Malayalam movies in 2011.There is another topic.
Wikipedia has a list of Malayalam films released in 2011.
Here's a list of noted Malayalam films.
Adaminte makan abu,Traffic,Melvilasom,Beautiful,Indian Rupee,Salt N' pepper,City of God,Chaappa kurish


Did you notice anything? Malayalam director Siddique needs a special mention here.All his films,from Ramji Rao Speaking to Bodyguard, have English titles!.Among the above listed Malayalam films,  only three have a Malayalam title!

Traffic - it's OK.Finding another name for this movie is a difficult task.I wouldn't say they should have used 'gathagatham' or something like that..Traffic is already a 'Malayalam' word.right?


Beautiful - It's a beautiful movie.No doubt.They could find a Malayalam name.


Indian Rupee -Don't want 'Bharatheeya rupa'.But atleast, 'Indian rupa'?


Salt N' pepper - Easily 'uppum mulakum/molakum'.For me it would have been a good one.OK, there may be a lack of 'standard' in Malayalam?


City of God- no idea..

Living Together-no idea..


Christian Brothers - if it is 'Christi an brothers', there would have chance.(like Krishnanum Radhayum)!


China Town-no idea


Doubles-don't  mention please

Uppukandam Brothers Back in Action- longest English title of this year?


Three Kings -inspired from 3 idiots?


The film star- no idea..


 Bangkok Summer-They wanted to tell us that the film is shot in  Bangkok,that too in summer.


Scene No: 001- ??


Teja Bhai & Family- proverty of Malayalam language at it's peak?


Doctor Love- Doctor is a familiar word. Love is familiar. But this is 'combined'.


Sandwich-no Malayalam translation since it's not a Malayali breakfast like appam/putt.


Happy Durbar- No idea..

There is a manglish title also Payyans.


But I really think that most of these non-Nalayalam titles are better thn some Malayalam titles like 'Raghuvinte swantham Raziya' 


Anyway i hope they will give an English-Malayalam dictionary with the movie tickets in future!
